As Operations Manager at the Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex, Len Ricardo is responsible for managing CDSCC operations and coordinating mission support activities.

Len joined CDSCC in May 1978 as an electronics technician/link controller. He had a 4 year break from operations in 1989, working in the Systems Engineering section as a computer systems administrator, before taking on the role of Deputy Operations Manager. Len was promoted to Operations Manager in 1994.

Len's background is in electronics and he has a post graduate degree in Management from the University of Wollongong.
